Some people don't understand why I carry my camera with me just about everywhere I go, but I'm worried that if I don't have my camera, that will be the time an elephant riding a unicycle will go by and I'll miss it. I sometimes go on personal photowalks around the neighborhood. On one of my photowalks, I ran across a rare sight in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia: an elephant in the wild, and I have the photo to prove it.

Too funny! I take my camera with me all the time too. I think the neighbors wonder why the crazy lady always takes walks carrying her camera. The few times I haven't had it, I've missed a great shot. No elephants in southwest Michigan yet, though!
Excellent find. I'm glad you are safe after coming across an elephant on the loose. ;)
P.S. I carry a camera with me almost all the time too. I've gotten some unexpected shots that way.
What a great scebe to come accross and a well taken photo. Love the low angle to make it look real.
Cute!!
I follow Jamie's blog and have been browsing yours today. I love your photographs! (I'm a wanna-be-photographer.)
I've been thinking about getting another camera to carry with me all the time - I've NOT had mine with me a few times and really regretted the photo op... like the time my daughter was 3 and met Barbara Bush at the library. So, I don't have any photographs of this neat encounter!
