Day 4: Lone Stroller

While at the park today I spotted this stroller in the field with no one around. Don't worry there was not a baby in it; and yes, the owners did come back to the lone stroller.

Manual: page 5 "Control Panel" so much information on a small LCD.

Inspiration: Tony Corbell Wedding and Portrait Photography International's Lifetime Achievement Award winner.

Day 3: Colors

I like the colors in this photograph. These are stackable counters that Kathryn let me play with for today's photo.

Day 2: Clarinet

Today my son Brandon was practicing the clarinet for one of his college classes. He going to major in music education so he has to learn how to play many different musical instruments. This should give me the opportunity to get photographs of a variety instruments.

Manual: I read page two and three, "Getting to Know the Camera" there were lots of drawings with number showing the function of each button.

Inspiration: Jasmine Star was the site viewed today. I love the way she is so down to earth on her blog.

Day 1: Lacy

I ran across the challenge that Scott Bourne issued to Tasra Dawson last week and thought it would be a great idea to join her in the challenge and bring our daughter in with me.
The challenge is to
1. Take at least 1 photograph everyday.
2. Read at least 1 page of your camera manual everyday.
3. View other professional images everyday.

Here is our dog, Lacy. She is very camera shy so I had to bribe her with treat to get her to stay and look in the right direction.

I read the page 1 of my manual today, the Introduction. I figured I would start at the beginning. I might skip around later depending on what I'm shooting that day.

I viewed Chase Jarvis site. Man, he has some great stuff.

I'm sure they are dreaming of some type of hidden treasure as they comb the beach.

Pier at Sunrise

I enjoy the beach in the morning and being able to admire God's work before it gets crowded. Seeing how massive and powerful the ocean is, reminds me of how small I am. And yet God, the creator of all things, still loves me and wants to be close to me.
