Day 22: Snow White in Ruby Slippers

Day 22: Snow White in Ruby Slippers

We went over to our friends house for Halloween. Their little girl was dressed as Snow White. I just loved the ruby slippers she had on. I don't think I ever knew what type of shoes Snow White wore; I think ruby slippers work well.

Day 18: Fall is Here

Day 18: Fall is Here

If you want to see the beauty in something or someone, you have to get a little closer to them. Take this photograph for instance. One leaf in the green grass might be considered a real beauty. If you step back and look at the entire yard it's filled with leaves and looks a little messy.

Manual: pages 17 through 21 "Basic Photography" This part of the manual tells how to turn the camera on, adjust the settings, frame a photograph, focus, check exposure, and take the photograph. I bet this is where most people stop reading the manual when they first get their camera.

Day 1: Lacy

I ran across the challenge that Scott Bourne issued to Tasra Dawson last week and thought it would be a great idea to join her in the challenge and bring our daughter in with me.
The challenge is to
1. Take at least 1 photograph everyday.
2. Read at least 1 page of your camera manual everyday.
3. View other professional images everyday.

Day 1: Lacy
Here is our dog, Lacy. She is very camera shy so I had to bribe her with treat to get her to stay and look in the right direction.

I read the page 1 of my manual today, the Introduction. I figured I would start at the beginning. I might skip around later depending on what I'm shooting that day.

I viewed Chase Jarvis site. Man, he has some great stuff.
